Eastern Ceiling and Supply Corporation was established in February 1979 to better serve the acoustical and insulation industry of South Florida. Initially targeted to improve distribution in the Florida market, it grew internationally within the Caribbean basin, Bahamas and Central America and has since become a factor in the export industry. Although, specializing in acoustical and thermal areas, it’s strong presence has long been a factor in product specifications, consultations, distribution and energy conservation.
In the 1990’s the company made a major move to the green movement, utilizing products that were safer to use in the building environment and more conscious to health concerns. It’s partnership with Johns Manville, a building manufacturer (est. in 1858) that was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway (a Warren Buffet company) in 1999, illustrate its persistent effort to target the RIGHT products for today as well as tomorrow (Formaldehyde-Free products)!!!
Since 2004, younger family members have stressed the importance of networking. Establishing circles of excellence and utilizing local contractors with similar backgrounds. Those tradesman that have weathered the industry for 20-30 years and have excellent credit and performance backgrounds to substantiate being referred.
